CAM Watersports is a family owned company located in Apollo Beach Florida. Skimboarding has been a passion of ours and our friends for a long time. Now our kids are into it and getting better everyday. With us being on the west cost of Florida what we mostly do here is called "flat-land-skimming" which means we are skimming in waters with little to no waves, but that's okay, that's the way we like it. It's safe and it's fun. We spend our time on the inland shores of Tampa Bay, and occasionally on the Gulf Beaches, but sometimes the best flat-land-skimming is in all the puddles after it rains. Puddle skimming is actually how CAM Watersports came to be, with the primary objective being to make skimboards with more buoyancy to stay on top of the shallow water for longer, smoother rides.  Then we took that concept a huge leap forward and invented the SkimShot, which is basically a really long, super stretchy bungee cord. The SkimShot turns an ordinary flat land skim ride into a really long skimming experience.  This gives you time to do tricks, but my favorite part is just the thrill of a nice long smooth ride gliding on the water, there is nothing like it, and is something you have to experience to understand.  CAM Watersports has grown over time and now offers some of the best skimboards the world has ever seen along with other accessories that are made exclusively for us with great attention to detail and quality.
